Hi! I’m Alessandro Marcolini (alemar99 on the internet) — a software engineer at Canonical , where I work on the MAAS (Metal As A Service) team.
I’m passionate about coding and always eager to learn, experiment, and apply new technologies.
While I was in university, I developed a strong interest in cybersecurity. I was both a participant and later a tutor to the CyberChallenge.it project. I've also participated in several CTFs and I still do from time to time.
I'm a big fan of open source too, and as part of my master's degree thesis, I've contributed a bit to the Linux kernel (you can find the commits here and here )
When I’m not in front of a terminal, I love staying active — especially playing volleyball. I also fly FPV drones... though yes, technically that still involves staring at a screen!
